Yes it was beautiful sky. My wife and i were admiring it guess we were not only ones to take notice :) I will second the call for rain garden is screaming for rain .I think my sweet corn is turning into pop corn.We can be thankful though that as extremley dry as its been no wild fires. At least this summer really feels like summer unlike last year seemed like we did not have a summer.

Last night we went down to Peaches N Cream to get an ice cream and took the back roads to get home. It wasn't long before we began to notice the sunset because it was so spectacular. When we got home I quick like grabbed the camera and started snapping photos. I took four or five pictures and every one of them showed the colors. It was hard to choose which one to post.

After I posted the sunset photo I watered my plants on the porch where I really got a good idea of just how "dry" we are. Just as soon as I began watering the first plant I noticed several spiders crawling up the leaves to "get a drink of water". Another spider that had spun a web on the floor that attached to the porch column jumped off its web and scampered to the drops of water that splattered from my watering. How dry is that????

There was a gorgeous sunrise yesterday, Saturday, all reds, pinks and blue but no rain. It didn't last long but we must appreciate the beauty of God's work. Nice picture Sal.
