I would like to pose a question concerning the Jim Adams write in campaign put on by Sally. In a letter received from the Republican committee it says Adams is involved and decisive. Just what has he been involved in and what decisive decisions has he made for the town? It seems that all the advertising has been done by Sally and not one word from Mr. Adams who supposedly wants a seat on the town board. While it is true he has served on the ZBA that team meets only on a as need basis and Mr. Adams has never attended any training sessions for this position. With that record what can we expect from Mr. Adams? From Mr. Adams please. This country was founded on the two party system, something that seems to be ignored in this campaign. There is a very negative attiutude towards the Democrats on this site and the two Democratic candidates have been active on the town board and should be elected to their respective positions come November 8, as they have a proven record of getting the job done.

Gerry Simcoe didn't attend a Board meetings before he was appointed, then elected. Paul Mortzheim, didn't attend Town Board meetings, before he was elected, but he was on the Appeals Board, and master plan committee. NOW, I have to say that JAke Gross, always attended all Town Board meetings, and Planning Board Meetings. So what if they don't attend the meetings now, as long as when they are elected they put 100% into the job. Give People A chance!!

I find it amusing that an obvious Democrat is accusing me of abandoning the two party system. I did not ignore the two party system in this campaign…the Lindley Democratic Caucus ignored it by endorsing a “Republican” for Town Supervisor. Obviously, the distinction between the two parties was of little significance to them. I swear sometimes, responding to political detractors, is like shooting fish in a barrel.
