Blaine Toby Bowls 300 Game

Blaine Toby just bowled his first 300 game with a 724 Series in the Kings and Queens League on Saturday night at Crystal Lanes; 2/18/06. The last time he came close to having a 300 was on December 27, 2003 when he bowled 11 in a row for a 297 in the same league.

Ground Zero

I copped these two photos off the internet to show what we saw the night we took the subway to Ground Zero. I'll post my photos as soon as I get them developed, but they won't show anymore than these photos do if they show anything at all. By the time we got out of class and arrived at the site it was dark and discovered there was a fence all the way around that prevented us from actually viewing the "hole" four stories below. However, the lack of a "visual" did not alter the sense of tragedy or utter devastation that we all carried in the recesses of our memories of what happened on 9/11 as we stood at the site.

Steve Hughey, on the left, took it on himself to test one of Larry Orr's new putters. It worked fairly well until he hit a High Power Electric line with it!Hughey was 52.

Hillbilly Birth

Deep in the back woods of Letcher County Kentucky a hillbilly's wife went into labor in the middle of the night, and the doctor was called out to assist in the delivery. Since there was no electricity, the doctor handed the father-to-be a lantern and said, "Here. You hold this high so I can see what I am doing!"Soon, a baby boy was brought into the world. "Whoa there", said the doctor, "Don't be in such a rush to put that lantern down I think there's another one coming."Sure enough, within minutes he had delivered a baby girl. "Hold that lantern up, don't set it down there's another one!" said the doctor.Within a few minutes he had delivered a third baby. "No, don't be in a hurry to put down that lantern, it seems there's yet another one coming!" cried the doctor.The redneck scratched his head in bewilderment, and asked the doctor . . . "You reckon it might be the light that's attractin' 'em?"

The video game is due out in stores this month.The object of this game is to kill LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is putting together an online petition to boycott this game. I am asking each of you to go to their website and please sign the petition and pass along this info to your family and friends.The "25 to Life"© video game allows players the option to role-play by shooting gang members and police officers and using innocent bystanders as human shields. West High Class Reunion "15 Years"
